SUMMARY:The Regent's Canal: the Angel to Hackney
DESCRIPTION:A weekday winter’s morning canal walk\, strolling east from the Angel and ending near Hoxton \n\n\n\nJoin me to explore a beautiful canal stretch\, passing historic warehouses\, canal basins\, weirs\, locks\, canal boats and greenery. The towpath is usually slower and quieter on winter weekday mid mornings\, allowing us to better appreciate the changing scenery. \n\n\n\nThis stretch of the canal has seen much regeneration of old industrial structures as well as new builds\, plus recent work ‘re-wilding’ the water near the banks to encourage wildlife. Once into Hackney\, we will also pass the section now known as the Haggerston Riviera thanks to the waterside cafes. \n\n\n\nWe’ll leave the canal after Kingsland Basin and end near The Museum of the Home on Kingsland Road. \n\n\n\nBooking link here.
